FREA Membership Grant

Purpose:  To financially help units raise their membership numbers.

Please Note: The money will be reimbursed to the Unit after the event or process is complete.

Criteria:

  1. Unit must have liability insurance. Either through FREA or their own.
  2. Unit must support the Foundation.
    1. This would need to be documented by the Certificate of Recognition form.
  3. A portion of the grant must go towards something that will be continuously used for membership.
  4. The grant will pay up to 50% of expenses used for the membership drive but will not exceed $400.00 per unit.
  5. This grant can be applied for once each year.

Process:

  1. Submit a report. It must include the following information:
    1. Membership numbers before and after the event.
    2. Discuss what went right and what needs to change for success.
    3. Was the membership target goal you were hoping to meet successful? Why or why not
    4. All receipts must be submitted.
  2. Show what receipts are for the continuous portion of the membership granT.
