To Join FREA Only and become an FREA Member at Large: Fill in the application without filling in any Unit Name blanks.

To Join a Local Unit and FREA: FREA Unit names are the names of Florida Counties. Dues amounts vary by County, the list is linked below.

If you wish to become a member of your local Retired Educators Association Unit, please enter the name of the Local FREA Unit (the county in which you reside). There is a dropdown list below.

Your application will be processed within 2-5 business days of submission. Please use your invoice number to access your account in the Members Only section of our website. The rest of the website is available for your use immediately.

Your Membership Letter with Membership card will be emailed to you within a week.

Renewal Instructions

Thank you for renewing your membership with FREA.

To create your account on the website you will need your membership number, or an invoice number. Don’t have either?

Your Username will be your email address.

Once you have logged in, you will easily be able to renew your state dues (and your local dues if you belong to a local unit) online using your credit card.

Also, once you have logged in, please feel free to check your contact information and update or correct any information needed.
